TANK
◆If the tank is made of fiberglass, its service life is generally 15-20 years under normal use and maintenance conditions. FRP has good corrosion resistance and can resist the erosion of many chemical substances, which allows it to maintain good performance during the storage of foam liquid and other chemical substances.
◆Aluminum tanks typically have a service life of about 10 – 15 years. Aluminum alloy material is lighter, easier to install and carry, and also has certain corrosion resistance, but its corrosion resistance is slightly weaker than FRP.
◆The service life of a tank made of hot-rolled steel plate is about 10-12 years after good anti-corrosion treatment. Hot-rolled steel plates have high strength but are susceptible to corrosion, so effective anti-corrosion measures are needed to extend their service life.
◆Capsule: The capsule is the key component inside the foam tank used to store foam liquid. Its service life is generally around 5-10 years. Capsules are usually made of rubber and other materials, and their aging rate is mainly affected by factors such as the chemical properties of the foam liquid, frequency of use, and storage environment temperature. If the foam liquid is highly corrosive or used frequently, the capsule may age and rupture more quickly.
◆Proportional mixer: The service life of the proportional mixer is related to product quality, frequency of use and maintenance. With normal use and maintenance, it will generally last 10-15 years. Regularly clean the scale and impurities inside the proportioning mixer to ensure a good working environment and extend its service life. If the mixing ratio of the proportioning mixer deviates, repair or replace parts should be carried out in time to ensure its normal operation.
◆Valves and instruments: The service life of valves is generally around 8 - 12 years, while the service life of instruments (such as pressure gauges, liquid level gauges) is about 5 - 8 years. The sealing performance of the valve will decrease with the increase of use time and number of switches, and the seals need to be inspected and replaced regularly. The meter may have inaccurate measurements due to aging, damage, etc. of internal components and needs to be calibrated or replaced in time.
