Release Operation Of Davit Launched Life Raft

1. Remove all protective devices, check and remove all obstacles;

2. Open the black guard plate on the side of the life raft, and pull the raft shackle 1 (as shown in the picture) out of the container;

3. Raise the heavy hammer, lower the hook, and connect the liferaft shackle to the release hook 3 (as shown in the picture);

4. Fasten the liferaft anchor line 4 (as shown in the picture);

5. Tie the raft shell control cable 5 (as shown in the picture);

6. Fasten the painter line of the life raft;

7. Lift the raft body and turn it outboard;

8. Pull the painter line to inflate the raft;

9. Tighten the rope to make it close to the ship's rail;

10. Board the life raft, unfasten the cable, pull down the remote control cable (heavy hammer) to lower the life raft;

11. When about 2 meters from the water surface, pull the release hook cable.

When the liferaft descends to the surface, it will automatically release the release hook; cut off the bow cable and drive away from the mother ship.
