●My country's shipbuilding completion volume was 36.34 million deadweight tons, a year-on-year increase of 18.2%;
●The number of new orders received was 87.11 million deadweight tons, a year-on-year increase of 51.9%;
●The number of orders on hand is 193.3 million deadweight tons, a year-on-year increase of 44.3%;
●My country's three major shipbuilding indicators account for 55.1%, 74.7% and 61.4% of the global total in terms of deadweight tonnage respectively.
●More than 70% of global “green ship” orders come from China
●There are two main ways for ships to achieve green transformation:
–The first is to use new green fuels such as liquefied natural gas, methanol, and liquid ammonia as ship power.
–The other is to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction by optimizing ship power units and adding new technologies such as desulfurization systems.
●At Dalian Shipbuilding in China, most of the new ships produced in the dock are already green ships using green fuel.
●LNG carriers set multiple new records
●"High value-added ships" mainly refer to LNG liquefied natural gas carriers and other ships with high value, high technology content and high difficulty. At present, our country has created many global records in this field, such as the shortest construction cycle, the fastest completion of sea trials, and the largest single order in the history of shipbuilding.
●“Unique skills” capture over 80% of global market share
●At the dock of Jiangnan Shipbuilding, a century-old shipyard, a large ship is docked: the world's largest ultra-large ethane carrier with a capacity of 99,000 cubic meters. Unlike other gas carriers, this series of very large ethane carriers use exclusive core technology independently developed by my country.
●The B-cabin cargo containment system is a container responsible for storing liquefied ethane, ethylene and other goods. It is also the core unique skill of this large ship.
