There are two main types of rescue boats

Rescue boats: Maneuver at a speed of at least 6 knots and maintain this speed for at least 4 hours.

Fast rescue boat: Maneuver at a speed of at least 20 knots in calm water with a crew of 3 and maintain this speed for at least 4 hours. When manned and equipped, the speed is at least 6 knots.

At the same time, rescue boats are usually equipped with advanced navigation systems, communication equipment, life rafts, life jackets, buoys and other life-saving equipment.
