Technical Specification
Theory description:
The sea water enters the plant at the condenser for cooling the water vapor,
flows through the condenser. Then a little quantity is fed into the evaporating chamber
and about half of them evaporating to vapor, the sea water is heated by the cylinder
cooling water of main engine. The rest quantity of sea water is led to the brine/air ejector,
where brine and air is take off, and was discharged to overboard.
The pressure inside the chamber is less than atmosphere (vacuum), in this way the
evaporating temperature usually is lower than 45 degree. The vapor rises from the e
vaporating chamber, which flows through the demister where brine mist is removed,
and pure steam condensed to liquid in the condenser.

Characteristics of Fresh Water Generator
The plant is a packaged unit, which is mounted on a base frame. All components and
accessories such as fresh water pump, interconnecting pipe-work as well as inner cable are connected prior to delivery.
The sea water pump independently supplied for on-site installation on board, which is to be positioned under the light ballast line.
